The Melbury Log Cabin from Forest is big enough to offer multi-use accommodation despite still having a relatively small footprint. With a 4m x 3m footprint returning 10 square metres (108 square feet) of internal floor space this model is big enough to be used as a two-desk office, a generous hobby room or gym or if you want somewhere to relax in comfort it would even accommodate a sofa suite and TV table or a dining table and chairs. Its pent roof design is unobtrusive, stylish and gives it a modern look.
The specification of the Melbury includes 34mm machined, interlocking logs for the walls, 19mm Tongue & Groove boards for the roof and floor and it is available with single or double glazed toughened glass window and doors. The glazed doors, fixed front windows and double side window provide plenty of natural light and the opening side window can be built into either side of the cabin. Different felt roof options are also available.
This model option is double glazed all round with higher specification 34kg weight Polyester felted roof and underlay. The felt has a polyester fibre base layer that makes it much stronger and more tear resistant than non-polyester grades. With more than three times the tear resistance of conventional mineral felt it has a life expectancy of up to 20 - 30 years when fitted correctly.
With the flexibility this garden building offers and the specification options available it's easy to see why the Melbury is one of Forest's most popular models.
All deliveries are made by vehicles with a crane off-load facility and with an optional professional assembly service. The log cabin must be built upon a solid and level surface such as a poured concrete base.
As a full builders and plumbers merchant, we stock a huge range of products varying in size from minute to massive. In order to supply our products at such competitive prices and not overcharge where unnecessary, we have developed a shipping structure based on the size, weight and transportability of each product which will always offer the most cost-effective shipping method.
All delivery charges are included and clearly displayed in the shopping cart/basket page (when using the shipping estimator) and also on the checkout page, both before and during payment. All delivery charges are based on delivery to Mainland UK (excluding the Scottish Highlands).
We pride ourselves on quick and complete delivery services, and we make every effort to ensure deliveries are always on time and exceed expectation. On some occasions there may be delays with manufacturers or other factors which may be out of our control, and we will always endeavour to minimise any delays. It is important not to have tradesmen booked in or jobs ongoing that are reliant on the supply of the materials. Any deliveries that are outside the timescales stated on the product page will be notified to you via email or phone, and you will be kept in the picture at all times.
Delivery Methods
Where possible deliveries are carried out on our own transport (within our delivery zones) and if the items are classed as 'big and bulky' (over 1m in dimension, or over 10kg in weight) the delivery cost will be based on cart total and delivery address distance. Using our own fleet within our delivery zone means we can offer same-day and next-day delivery services as standard as well as adhere to notes and restrictions as best we can.
When items are not 'big and bulky' (such as under 1m in dimension, or under 10kg in weight) and are outside our delivery zone, we will send these via a courier network on a standard next working day delivery service. This is a free of charge service for orders over £150 plus VAT.

All delivery methods are carried out between Monday and Friday only and weekend deliveries are not an option. Where stated 'next day' this means Nationwide Supplies next working day which is subject to change. Orders placed after 12pm will be processed the following day for dispatch, so please allow a further 24 hours before expecting your goods.
Delivery Costs
To get the most accurate delivery cost, please add all of your items to the shopping cart, visit the cart page and enter your desired delivery post code. This will calculate the exact prices for delivery of your shopping cart and will always offer you the best delivery options available to you.
Multiple Deliveries
Depending on the mix of goods on our order, the delivery may arrive from different companies at different times. This is always kept to a minimum where possible and you will be notified of the consignments.
Delivery Acceptance
Please ensure you will be on site to receive your deliveries. All deliveries require a signature and also clarification on the condition of the goods. Please do not sign for goods received in 'good condition' if they have visible signs of damage or have been unchecked. If any part of the delivery is damaged, please notify us immediately on 01763 281111 or email us at sales@nsupplies.co.uk. As soon as delivery has been taken and signed for any damages are your responsibility and we may not be able to argue the case against the haulage or courier company.
Delivery Access
Our delivery service is a kerbside offering to minimise risk to both our vehicles and your property. If at any time you request our vehicles and drivers to deliver in a different location and wish them to enter your property, and/or surrounding property, this is at your own risk and damages would be at your own fault - this would require signing a damage waiver form prior to us accessing the property. If the vehicles become damaged because of this, we may ask you to cover costs of repair. Our crane lorries are up to 26t and may be too large to access some locations such as alley ways, garage blocks and rear gardens.
Big and Bulky
These are products that couriers generally don't accept due to either their weight or dimensions (usually over 1m in any dimension or over 10kg in weight). These include (but are not limited to) aggregate, timber, lintels, twinwall pipe, fencing, cement, sheet materials, bricks, blocks and more. Where items may be able to be hauled on a pallet, we can arrange this on a POA basis.
